Question and Answer:
Why do I need to donate $3.00? Shouldn't this be free?
All monies collected will be used solely for the purpose of making our events successful and continuing our mission.
Why do I need to bring my own plate, cutlery and reusable napkin?
Paper party goods can be expensive and just add more garbage to our nation's landfills. Let's do our part in keeping our earth clean and free from clutter.
Do I need to bring my own beverage?
We supply Niagara's Best ice cold water as well as hot tea and coffee. If you wish to bring your favorite beverage, please do! Just keep it non-alcoholic please!
Why just vegan and what is it?
So our vegan friends can feast as well, we ask that you please bring food that does not contain any meat, poultry, fish, dairy (yep that means cheese too!), eggs, or honey.
What if I don't know how to cook vegan?
If you've never cooked vegan style, this is your chance to be creative! And if you're thinking you can't possibly be creative unless a little cheese is added, don't worry--just go to these links for a variety of non-dairy recipe ideas:

What if I don't know how to cook at all?
If cooking or baking isn't you're thing, please consider bringing vegan party snacks (e.g. tortillas and salsa, hommus dip and pitas, etc.)!
I'm not vegetarian, can I come?
Of course! You do not have to be vegetarian to participate--everyone is welcome!
My dish should be served hot. Can I heat my dish up?
Sure, but please arrive at least 15 minutes early. We will have access to a full kitchen complete with oven, stove and microwave. Also, please feel free to bring a crockpot to keep your dish hot through the evening.
Why do I need to arrive 15 minutes early to heat my dish?
The beginning of our potlucks are very hectic, with many arriving with dishes to be heated, named and placed. Arriving early helps us to be organized and eat in a timely manner.
